Time: 10 minutes +chill Serves: 8
Ingredients
- 12 cups water
- 1 bunch mint leaves (about 100-120 leaves)
- 1/2 cup simple syrup (optional, more/less to taste – may sub honey or agave nectar)
- optional: fresh squeezed lemon juice, mint for garnish
How to make it
- In a pot that can be covered, bring water to a boil. Remove from heat and add mint leaves, tearing roughly as adding. Let steep for 5-10 minutes. Strain leaves out. Add simple syrup. Mix well & allow to cool at least to room temp before pouring over a tall glass of ice.
