Cucumber Yogurt Sauce

A Greek inspired yogurt based sauce that can easily be tweaked to suit what you serve it with. Some variations include adding fresh dill or fresh mint, a bit of lemon juice, minced fresh garlic or roasted garlic.

Time: 1o min       Serves: 4


  • 1 cup 2% plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/2 cup english cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp scallions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • black pepper to taste, freshly ground

How to make it

  • Combine ingredients and stir well. Cover and refrigerate for several hours to allow flavors to blend. Stir before serving.
