This Week’s Menu

My beau was off on Saturday so we got to go to Eastern Market together, which was really nice, although it was VERY hot and humid out. We went without a plan, just let the market inspire us.

Monday – Tilapia wtih Grilled Baby Bok Choy and Basmati Rice

Tuesday – Cheeseburgers on Homemade Buns (experiment) with Sweet Potato Fries and Sweet Corn on the Cob

Wednesday – Chili Dogs with Crushed Potatoes and Garden Salad

Thursday – Zucchini Ribbons with Lemon & Basil and Whole Wheat Spaghetti

Friday – Fried Shrimp with sides T.B.D.

As always, this menu is subject to change. We are making a trip to Trader Joe’s tomorrow, so that could change things around depending on what we pick up. I know a lot of people have given up using their ovens & stoves and have taken to grilling most meals to beat the heat. I’m curious to know what’s cooking in your kitchen.
